Strokers Golf Club of Philadelphia

The mission of the Strokers Golf Club of Philadelphia is to bring together and welcome golfers of all skill levels in the Philadelphia, New Jersey and Delaware area who embrace and value fellowship, networking, community involvement and the fun competition that the game of golf provides.

The Strokers organization started in Atlanta, Ga. Through networking and friendly rounds of golf, a Philadelphia chapter was born in 2001. The founding members and others kicked off the inaugural season with only a handful of African American golf enthusiast from the Philadelphia, New Jersey and Delaware area. Since that time the club has grown to over 50 members annually. With the success of the organization over the years the club has expanded its focus in the community, hosted annual golf trips and introduced a competitive format that has crowned various club champions over the years.

The Philadelphia chapter continues to strengthen its ties with other Stroker clubs nationally from areas including Atlanta, and Washington, DC. Entering our 21^th season, the Strokers Golf Club of Philadelphia welcomes our returning members and encourages others who love the game to join.

Entering our 21th season, Stroker membership has its privileges. Full season schedule featuring at least (2) rounds per month at the region's best courses. Priority tee times, USGA handicapping, competition by skill level flights, two "major" tournaments per season, match play event against the DC Strokers, club paraphernalia, bi-weekly trophies and organized golf trips are just a few of  the membership benefits.
